If you have just moved to town, it won't be long before you hear someone say, "You should join the Sudbury Newcomers--that is a really fun group of people!" Especially during that first crazy year after a move, the Newcomers are an invaluable resource--you'll meet people, find out where to go, what to do, and how to get things done; connect with neighbors, and make long-lasting friendships. People in the Newcomers know all about moving (and particularly for all you Californians and southerners, they know about the challenges of moving to New England!).

However, the Sudbury Newcomers is NOT just for newcomers! Most of our members have been in town at least three years. We are a social club that has been helping people in Sudbury meet friends and neighbors since 1961. Our membership includes everyone from families who just moved to town to people who have been in town for 30 years. We are dedicated to helping people in Sudbury connect through activities and social events. If you are looking to meet people, find friends, explore our area, attend some great parties, or give back to our community, and you have found the right group!

Our annual evening events usually include our holiday party, spring and fall Hospitality Night, Game Night and wine tasting, yoga nights, Ladies Night out and movies nights.

Daytime events include craft and cooking workshops, our popular "Potluck Lunches," field trips to local museums or attractions, coffee mornings, and hiking and cross-country skiing.  We also have long-running Activity Groups (link to activity groups) including book club, international group, and walking group. Our Community Service group (link to community svc group) is also very active involved in a number of established local charities.
